🟡 Start Planning Your St. Patrick’s Day Fun in Gaston County Now!

Plus...enjoy poetry at Belmont’s Sip & Speak, learn herb gardening from a Master Gardener and the Dallas Dairy Queen gets demolished.

Hello, Gaston! It’s Thursday, you know what that means.

I know St. Patrick’s Day is still 11 days away, but it’s never too early to plan how you’ll celebrate.

Meanwhile, my wife, Jillian, won’t be making any plans—she’ll be too busy curled up in a ball, crying. Why? Because her little baby boy, Finnley, is turning one.

That little loaf of bread, born on March 13, 2024, at 5 pounds, 9 ounces, will have officially completed his first full trip around the sun.

It’s bittersweet, knowing they can’t stay little forever. But, as the song says—Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on.

He may have missed being a St. Patrick’s Day baby by just four days, but he’ll always be our lucky little boy. And as for his mom and me? We are the luckiest ones of all.

Thanks for reading!

Ben
